Listen:
North Texas tax office adds “In God We Trust” to tax forms, Hawaii GOP candidate denies ties to evangelical group, Christians start free laundry ministry, Catholic priest gets texts from the devil, Christian coffee shops, strict laws enforce fasting in Iran, and a “mass” resignation from the LDS Church.
That “In God We Trust” thing always sits wrong with me. Wouldn’t it be so much nicer to use “E Pluribus Unum”? IGWT is so passive aggressive, while EPU is so nicely inclusive.
Couldn’t agree more. But considering the rhetoric out of Washington these days, I’m thinking inclusiveness isn’t high on some folks’ agenda.
Loved this week’s episode! My Dad was doing SDA missionary work at the laundry mat in the ’80s when I was a kid. Looking back on it now, it’s pretty funny.
